"What else?"
Stella Sterling looked at him and asked.
The little guy in front of her tilted his head and thought carefully. "Also... also, I think I'm not very lucky. I'm really unlucky, so I figure I'm probably going to die today."
Hearing this, Stella Sterling raised an eyebrow.
She was a little curious as to why he saw himself that way.
'Really unlucky?'
On second thought, having to endure a brutal environment like the apocalypse at such a young age was indeed quite unlucky.
But then again, to say he was unlucky...
For a child this young to have survived until now, he was already luckier than countless others.
The little boy continued, "Besides, even my own mom and dad abandoned me because they thought I was a burden. So why would anyone else take pity on me?"
Stella Sterling was a little surprised to hear this.
A child this young couldn't have possibly survived this long on his own. Someone must have been protecting him.
