Every plant grown from a Magic Seed was entirely unique. So even though Zachary Pierce and his group were also surviving on the edge of the sea, and he had planted a Magic Seed in The Thunderhead at the boundary, the resulting plant was vastly different from Faye Yardley's Thunder Tree.
It was a glowing blue-and-white tree, consisting solely of branches without a single leaf. However, it bloomed with large white flowers crackling with arcs of lightning.
Thus, when Faye returned to her raft and received the large white flower sent by Zachary, she was a bit dumbfounded.
