She wasn't lying. Faye Yardley genuinely didn't know. Of course, she had her suspicions, but those were just guesses, not facts.
Chloe Hughes had no trouble telling if someone was lying.
'So she really wasn't lying, and Logan Langdon actually got the best treasure in the end?'
Chloe Hughes couldn't help but think, 'As expected of the man I chose. His luck is incredible.'
"Hugh Langdon said you arrived last night."
Faye Yardley nodded, took a long sip of her juice, and swallowed before speaking. "Tell me about it. I've searched it twice already and still have no idea what treasure is hidden in there."
'Once I get back to my raft, I'm going to have to take a good look and see what it is.'
Faye Yardley continued, "Speaking of which, you guys found the cave too. Did you discover anything in there?"
Chloe Hughes shrugged. "I didn't find anything, but it seems Logan Langdon obtained something in there. I haven't seen it, so I'm not sure what it is."
