Charlotte Morgan hesitated for a moment. "Then... is now okay?"
"Now?"
Kevin Everett was genuinely surprised this time.
'Is she in that much of a hurry?'
Charlotte Morgan looked at Kevin Everett with pleading eyes. "Can't I?"
She simply felt that awakening a Superpower was very dangerous. With both Jayce and Sierra Sullivan present, she wanted to do it now.
But... she didn't dare voice this selfish thought.
However, they were all intelligent people. Even though Charlotte Morgan hadn't said it outright, everyone had already guessed her reasoning.
Kevin Everett had figured it out, but instead of agreeing immediately, he looked over at Jayce and Sierra Sullivan.
The final decision really depended on whether those two were willing.
If they didn't agree, they would just have to find another time and have a different Superpower User stand guard for Charlotte Morgan.
Jayce didn't answer, looking instead to Sierra Sullivan.
