Kate's POV
The alarm was blaring loudly which woke me up instantly. I quickly ran into the bathroom to bath and prepare for work. For the introduction, My name is Kate Smith the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Smith . When I was nine my parent were involved In a car accident which took they lives and let only me surviving . After their death my father's relatives came and took my dad's companies, houses and cars leaving me with nothing. However, life had been rough for me since then I've got to adapt to street life. With the little money I got from my aunt I managed to finish my education.

Ever since then I have been living in my little room while working as a coffee mater and as a Server in Mirad coffee shop.

I quickly finished bathing and then warped myself in a towel as I left the bathroom. I opened my little wardrope searching for what to wear then! laid my eyes on a short flower gown which I quickly put on, applied some makeup with a pink lip gloss. still ruminating on which shoe to wear, I later settled for Sneakers.
I opened my little fridge and brought out some
eggs which I fried and then settled down for breakfast of fried egg and bread. I quickly finished eating and dumped the plates in the kitchen before running out of the house so that I won't be late I can't bear to see Mr brown's angry face. Mr brown is my boss and he doesn't like late coming although he is caring and loving ,he is also strict
I flashed down a taxi and then zooom I'm in front of my working place
I was still about to enter when my best friend Rose came jumping and then giving me a hug "Good morning bitch"Rose said still lingering around me tightly
"Good morning" I muttered before she squeeze life out of me.
"How was your night? Hope you slept well? Did you eat breakfast before coming? Rose asked
Rose please one question at a time I said grinning
Actually, Rose was also like me she dosen't have any relative to rely on ever since her aunt threw her out so we became best friends.
"Okay" she said heads down
She might be childish sometimes but she is actually strong, we are of same age and that's 21
We walked to the private bathroom where we changed into our uniform. Immediately, I came out I sighted Raymond
He is also one of my Co-mates, he is in charge of drinks
"Ray good morning" I shouted so that he can
hear me.

he has a way of flirting with girls which made us gain more female customers.
I quickly rushed to help him serve some drinks to some waiting customers

OMG!!! In the Master's bestroom, on a king Sized bed laid Richard Martins. He is the perfect definition of a Greek god, well sculptured face, marble like eyes, the most handsome in the whole City. Every woman dies for a moment with him. Even the maids drool just at the sight of him but they know him so well not to stare for long else he might sack them. He has a cold and alluring aura which made him more handsome, the only person he has a soft spot for is his mother and his best friends Bian and Bluey. In a beautiful morning, on a king sized bed laid Richard sleeping when the buzzing of his phone woke him.

Richard got off the bed and got dressed to go to work. He is the CEO at one of the branches of HR Company. As he was heading out,he stopped by the coffee shop near his mansion for his usual morning coffee.He walked in,scanning the place… and that's when he saw her. The girl with the piercing brown eyes,serving coffee with a shy smile. Richard's eye lingered.he hadn't noticed her before
He took a seat by the counter "coffee,black," he said locking eyes with her. She looked away,flustered.

Gosh I'm so tired I exclaimed after working for more than five hours nonstop
"Hey baby" Rose said walking closer to where I am
"Sweetie "hope the work is not stressful I said
huhh!! we both know it is stressful buth we have to survive she replied tiredly
Anyways the boss is asking for you she added Mr brown is asking for me why? I replied

I didn't know what to do so I just left and took the envelope from his secretary. I couldn't process everything. How would I pay rent? How will I feed myself? What about Rose? Those were the thoughts that filled my mind as I went back to the counter then I caught a glimpse of a man in grey suit watching me and I quickly looked away.I went to the dressing room to pack my stuffs when I bump into Rose
"hey love" what's wrong your eyes are puffy she said, worried
Mr brown told me to quit because the coffee
shop is in short of money and they had to cut off workers I said sniffing
