June's pov
As we moved through the vibrant forest, the paradise started to feel a bit weirder.
We passed a patch of bright pink flowers that had tiny, needle-sharp teeth in the center of their petals. They were humming a soft, haunting lullaby.
I walked behind Ferah, the silver chain clinking between us.
Damn, her ass is big,* I thought as she moved through the ferns. And the way it sways...
I caught myself and immediately shook my head. Stop it, Jake. Mai is waiting for you.
But my eyes were glued to her. Then, Ferah stopped suddenly and turned around.
"Is everything alright? You're breathing weird."
I had completely forgotten what the silver chain does.
I stiffened, looking everywhere but at her body. "Can you stop thinking everything is about you? I'm just... tired."
Fifi snickered from ahead. "Sister, I don't know why you even bother with the puny one."
