Not a ghoul, not a ghost or even an undead but a living human. That kid is the reason why you're still alive. The dead child was revived on his own, like a god who woke up after a good sleep and casually killed the seemingly immortal and invincible being. Good story isn't it? "
I frowned after I heard his story.
Damn it! This is bad, the kids are in danger. How did they know about it in the first place? I need to come back Immediately.

I can hear the loud flapping of wings of countless insects that are chasing me. I don't have any choice but flew away and evade them. I need to find a way to contact and help Noir, but I need to buy more time first, until the other Espers comes. With this commotion, there's no way that the Elite Espers wouldn't move, especially uncle Arnold and uncle Davis.

People are screaming in fear while the Debris are falling down on them. Fortunately there are other Espers there but some are still injured.
I used my sound detection to locate the places with no civilians. Thankfully, the Espers association's hard work has paid off. The people knows how to escape and evacuate while something like terrorism of phantomares attack because of their dedication to evacuation drills.
I wandered around empty buildings and I'm riding on a sword like I'm surfing. I Suddenly had a bad feeling.

I really need to get away from them because they are extremely strong. I flew away hovering over the streets. Even though I'm flying above the speed of sound it is still not enough to outmatched someone who is moving twice at the speed of sound. He was casually running and talking to me.

"No." I answered briefly.
I trust him, He will Escape no matter what. That's who he is, it will be fine, please be safe.

The head of the cultists fell in to the ground with a*THUD!* while his body is burning. Uncle Davis emerged from the smokes and dusts like it wasn't a big deal and complimented me with a smile.

I looked at him and asked.

"Don't worry about him because Arnold is coming."

He almost got me there, I was almost got thrown on the ground and I managed to escape before my back hit the ground. He ordered the others to capture Yulia but thankfully she manage to escaped.
"Typical of you mortals. No matter how close your relationship is, you'll just abandon each other when you faced hardships."
He talked indifferently.

I mocked.

Honestly It's so irrational of me to be swayed by my own feelings but that incident caused an injury in my heart that never healed. I was only thankful that Yulia got awayeven though I acted recklessly but I won't be able to forgive myself if something happened to her because of my recklessness.

I'm barely standing, panting and holding a little girl in my hand while my other hand is broken. My body is full of bruise, wounds and my blood is pouring out of it. My bones are broken and I can feel the pain throughout my body but that pain is the only thing that makes me awake. I gently put down the girl who is still crying.
The masked man started laughing
"Hahaha! Putting your life on the line just to save a little insect no? A girl? I see! I see! You can never be one of us because you are a rare being amount humans, A "HERO!!"
He changed his expression and become serious.
"But that's why you have to die."
He opened his hand like he was aiming at me but someone hold him.
"Sorry but you can't kill him because I might kill you first."
The man I haven't seen for a long time. The man who saved me several times and the strongest, Arnold Barvatos.
"Tsk! So that useless clown failed to hold you down?"
He asked with displeasure. His posture suddenly changed like a puppet that lost its string and it fall down.

Tsk! Although I'm the one wish so that he won't remember me but it's still hurts to get ignored and be called disgusting. It's not my fault to be a ghoul, that's the only way for me to live and watch him and our friends. The only thing that dissatisfied me is that the target is Yasmin's daughter. If they hurt her I will kill them.
I also hope that the miracle child survived because he is my only clue for the true resurrection. Well I don't have to worry much since Arnold rushing over there but that other worlder guy would be pissed of. He's calling humans, mortals, insects, mutts mongrels or whatever but he's running away from Arnold? That would be funny to imagine
Anyway, I need to regenerate fast because Arnold really destroyed me this time.
