Zachary's right hand rested on his thigh. His deep eyes flickered over to Olivia before he answered in a low voice, "Cousin? Who?"
Hearing this, Olivia subconsciously looked at Lynn Jacobs across from her.
When Lynn Jacobs heard Zachary's words, her breath hitched. Her once-sparkling eyes immediately welled up with tears.
"Zachary… how could you say that?"
She stared at Zachary, her eyes full of accusation, as if he'd wronged her terribly.
Zachary's brow furrowed. Turning toward the kitchen, he called out, "Mrs Young!"
The housekeeper Young answered from the kitchen and hurried out.
"I'm here. Did you need something, Young Master?"
Entering the living room, the housekeeper Young stopped diagonally across from Zachary.
Zachary glanced at Lynn Jacobs, then turned to the housekeeper. His voice was laced with ice. "Since when was the Fairchild residence open to just anyone?"
