"Your wife's current situation is very unique. There are physiological differences between Vesperians and Asians, so many of our standard metrics can't be directly applied. This means we need to be even more cautious and meticulous in our observations and in adjusting her treatment plan."
He paused, his gaze holding the distinct earnestness of a physician:
"We all want to do everything we can to help your wife save this baby. But this isn't just on us doctors—"
He reached out and patted Zane Patterson on the shoulder. "We need your cooperation and support even more."
Zane Patterson was taken aback by the pat, and before he could process it, the doctor continued:
"Pregnancy is a very special time; women undergo both physical and psychological trials. Your wife is physically weak right now, and she needs emotional stability. As her husband, your job is to make her happy, help her relax, and make her feel safe and loved."
