Riverview Temple is the largest temple in Veridia. It's not far from the Azure River, hidden amidst the city streets, and occupies an immense plot of land, like a sanctuary deliberately set aside from the bustling metropolis.
Legend has it that the eminent monk who chose the site ascended to this spot, saw the river and sky merge into one over a vast, misty expanse of water, and decided to build a temple here, naming it "Riverview."
It was built to overlook Veridia's Azure River.
From a distance, the temple halls rose in successive layers. Its yellow walls and dark gray tiles were nestled among camphor trees and the rising smoke of incense, lending it a transcendent, otherworldly air.
Today, the temple is immensely popular. During holidays and festivals, it's packed to the brim with people. Even tourists from other cities come, drawn by its fame, to pray for wealth, marriage, peace, academic success... Everywhere you looked, there was a bobbing sea of heads.
