Annelise Valentine and Chloe Fairchild exchanged a look.
"My brother asked me to give this to you," Chloe Fairchild said.
He said nothing, simply rolling the scroll up and holding it tightly. He didn't return it or hand it to anyone, just stood there silently, seemingly lost in thought.
"Then thank your brother for me." After saying this, he didn't linger. Clutching the painting, he walked toward the study.
Kian Miller saw this and immediately followed him.
Annelise Valentine and Chloe Fairchild were left on the sofa, continuing to eat, completely baffled.
"What's up with him?" Chloe Fairchild asked. "Is there something wrong with that painting? My brother didn't send something he shouldn't have, did he?"
Annelise Valentine shook her head, her brow slightly furrowed. She was utterly confused.
Her gaze couldn't help but drift to the oil paintings in the living room.
