"There's someone else here?" Silas Linden's brow furrowed.
"It has to do with Evie. Didn't I tell you he was almost captured? Thankfully, Ross Redding arrived and saved him. That same day, from a distance, I saw a man standing on the farthest mountain. He was surrounded by a host of monsters, as if holding court. This man is intimately connected to these creatures. Unfortunately, Ross and I searched for him many times after that, but we never saw him again. We have no idea who he could be."
