Rex Redding's words left Rhys Redding speechless. Before long, nearly the entire Thunder Beast Clan had gathered at the site.
Silas Linden, carrying Ross, was also late to arrive. He saw several young Thunder Beasts about the same size as Ross and reached out to pet one, but was stopped.
"An outsider?"
Silas Linden froze. He glanced at the clearly wary Thunder Beast, then simply turned to calmly stroke Ross in his arms as he walked over to stand beside Rex Redding and Layla Redding.
Rhys Redding, as if he had just been handed the perfect weapon, immediately lashed out. "Rex Redding, as Clan Leader, do you not know that this is the Holy Land? Are you telling me you're unaware that outsiders are forbidden to set foot here?"
