Lin Chen froze on the spot as if struck by lightning.
Immediately after, his face flushed a deep crimson that verged on purple, the blush spreading from his cheeks all the way to his earlobes and neck.
"You... you... you..."
"That's right. I was awake the whole time."
Erica blinked playfully.
She knew she couldn't say certain jokes in front of the camera, but the teasing glint in her eyes completely betrayed her inner thoughts.
As for Lin Chen, countless different thoughts flashed through his mind in an instant.
'She was awake then?'
'Then why didn't she open her eyes or respond when I called out to her?'
'Was she tacitly allowing me to do something?'
'Or maybe she knew I most likely wouldn't do anything to her and was just pretending not to react to test my character?'
'Or maybe it wasn't tacit approval, but a deliberate temptation from the very beginning to see if I'd take the bait?'
