After a day of rest, the entire crew's spirits had lifted considerably.
And that was especially true for the female lead, Reba.
Her radiant glow was a clear sign she'd been well-loved.
Reba was eager to finish filming so she could take Qi Sheng back to visit her hometown.
She was almost thirty and still not married, and her family had been nagging her about it for some time.
Since Qi Sheng was traveling with her anyway, it was the perfect opportunity to bring him home to meet her parents and put an end to their nagging about marriage.
The plot of *Past Life* wasn't complicated to begin with, and both she and her co-star, Li Weize, were undeniably skilled actors.
Thanks to Reba's efficient performance, they wrapped filming a week ahead of schedule.
As the female lead, Reba didn't even have time for the wrap party. She rushed off with Qi Sheng to her hometown.
Since becoming famous, Reba hadn't been home in several years.
