Lloyd put down his coffee cup, closed his eyes to recall, and recounted everything about his meeting with the critic, including the cause and effect. He held nothing back, not that there was anything to hide.
The captain listened patiently while his team member diligently took notes, asking a question or two from time to to time.
"So, you didn't activate your inspiration at the time? You just observed him with your naked eye and didn't notice anything unusual about him?"
Lloyd nodded, then asked in return,
"That's right. Who keeps their inspiration active while having tea?"
"Er... we do..."
"Huh?"
"Don't worry about it. It's a professional habit, and one of the many things that make us different from you," the captain explained in a resigned tone.
Lloyd smiled and asked,
"I can understand that. Your main duty is to deal with criminals, so inspiration is indeed very important... Anyway, that's all I have to say. I wonder if it's of any help to you?"
