The worst part of a divorce is when it becomes a public spectacle, and you still can't go through with it.
Seraphina Quinn and Damian Fairchild's past had already been the talk of the town. Now that he had seemingly returned from the dead and was pestering her again, she worried this mess might end up embarrassing the entire Quinn Family.
Besides, a messy affair would have a negative impact on the children.
With this in mind, Seraphina Quinn said to the shameless Damian Fairchild, "I'll think about it."
"About how long do you need to think?"
"I'm on a tight schedule. Silas Fairchild only gave me three days."
"If I don't bring you back to Kingsland within three days, he'll cut off the medical payments for Rosalyn and my adoptive mother..."
Seraphina Quinn watched him, feeling that everything he said was about his worry for the Winslows, without a shred of care or concern for her... his wife.
