Damian Fairchild, on the other end of the line, froze at Seraphina Quinn's words.
"Pregnant?" His voice rose in sheer disbelief. "How can that be?"
Hearing Damian Fairchild's reaction, Seraphina Quinn knew Chloe Kendall hadn't told him yet.
'Chloe probably hasn't mentioned it because she wants to wait until the pregnancy is too far along for an abortion,' Seraphina thought. 'Then she'll tell Damian...'
'Or maybe, to secure her position by bearing his child, she won't go to Damian directly. She'll go to the elder Fairchild or the family's eldest son instead.'
'After all, they have a particular soft spot for Fairchild heirs!'
Seraphina Quinn was utterly disgusted by Chloe Kendall.
She couldn't be bothered to waste her breath on Damian Fairchild and issued a direct ultimatum. "Damian Fairchild, I have zero tolerance for this kind of betrayal. You'd better handle this, or we're getting a divorce—and it can't wait!"
With that, Seraphina Quinn hung up on Damian Fairchild.
