Seraphina Quinn dodged his aggressive kiss, but Cian had the strength to cup the back of her head, preventing her from pulling away.
Furious, she tried to strike Cian, but he swiftly caught her raised arm.

Cian stared at her for a moment, his eyes dark and profound. He took out his phone and tossed it in front of her. "Call him. After you do, I'll let you see your brother."

After all, confirming her brother was still alive was one of the main reasons she was here.
She picked up Cian's phone and dialed the number.
Cian watched her and said, "Think carefully about what you say. If I'm not satisfied with how you put it, I'll retract my promise."
