Damian Fairchild clenched his jaw and swung his fist at Charles Winslow. "You're asking for it!"
Just as the fist was about to connect with Charles Winslow's nose, Seraphina Quinn quickly wrapped her arms around Damian's waist. "I don't want you to fight."
She paused, then tilted her head up to look at Damian Fairchild.
"Can you not fight, for my sake? It's the New Year, and it's a rare chance for Audrey and me to get together. If you two actually fight, it'll ruin it for us."
Because of what Seraphina Quinn said, Damian Fairchild stopped.
His handsome face was cold as he said to her, "I'll wait for you in the car."
With that, Damian Fairchild walked out.
After he was a good distance away, Seraphina Quinn took Audrey Winslow's hand and said, "His temper is getting more and more unpredictable. I have to go. I'll find some time to come see you tomorrow."
