It was true, no one had told Seraphina Quinn.
So, she was quite surprised to hear that Damian Fairchild had been in a car accident.
She opened her mouth, about to say something, when Silas Fairchild cut in sarcastically.
"Oh, even if you had known, you probably wouldn't have cared if he lived or died. After all, you're a… cold-hearted woman."
He paused, feeling that wasn't quite precise enough, and corrected himself. "To be more precise, you're a woman with no heart at all."
At first, Seraphina Quinn had been hesitating about whether or not she should go see Damian Fairchild.
But now, provoked by Silas Fairchild's verbal barbs, she decided to change her flight.
"Which hospital?"
A sharp glint flashed in Silas Fairchild's eyes. He said coolly, "If you really wanted to know how he was doing, you think you couldn't find out which hospital he's in?"
With that, Silas Fairchild turned to leave.
