The Ashworth Residence
Early in the morning, the vast Ashworth Residence was rather quiet. In the front courtyard's garden, flowers of all shapes and sizes were in spectacular bloom, adding a splash of color to the otherwise tranquil estate.
In the living room, Mr. Ashworth and Miss Ashworth were sitting on the sofa. Mr. Ashworth didn't have to handle any official business today. He was enjoying a rare day off at home, making small talk with Miss Ashworth.
"Sigh. With everyone either at work or at school, it's just the two of us left." A ball of red yarn danced through Miss Ashworth's hands as she knitted a scarf, stitch by stitch, gradually weaving an intricate pattern.
Every year as winter approached, Miss Ashworth would personally knit scarves. Even the Ashworth family's daughters-in-law would follow her lead, learning to knit warm, heartfelt scarves for their own husbands and children. It had practically become a family tradition.
