"Seraphina, what other surprises do you have in store?" Jasmine Blaine asked curiously. "Come on, show us!"
Seraphina Ashworth offered a faint smile but said nothing. She simply raised a finger and pointed, motioning for everyone to look at the sky.
Everyone was a little baffled. Following the direction Seraphina Ashworth was pointing, they saw only a night sky dotted with a few faint stars and a crescent moon. There was nothing else out of the ordinary.
Cecilia Ashworth looked over at Seraphina Ashworth, but just as she was about to ask what this was all about, a deafening sound cut her off.
"BANG!"
Along with the resounding boom, a dazzling, multicolored firework blossomed in the night sky.
"What is this?" Jasmine Blaine's jaw dropped. She gazed at the firework blooming against the starry sky, a stream of praise spilling from her lips. "Wow, it's so beautiful!"
