Stella hesitantly accepted the video call.
On the phone screen.
The man was in a loose bathrobe, his damp hair slicked back. He held a cigarette, taking a slow drag.
When he noticed Stella's strange behavior on the screen, he raised a thick eyebrow. "What are you looking for?"
At that moment, Stella was in the middle of a fierce internal struggle, unable to make up her mind.
Her eyes darted around, avoiding Roman Rhodes on the screen.
Hearing the man's question, she tilted her head back and fibbed, "Looking for a mosquito."
