Stella Sterling nodded without hesitation. "Of course. Is it to... visit your mother?"
Stella Sterling had heard about this before.
Roman Rhodes usually went to Borland Road to meet with Mrs. Rhodes about once every two weeks.
But he'd been swamped with business lately and hadn't found the time to return to Vicenza.
Counting the days, it had been almost a month.
"I do need to see Mrs. Rhodes," Roman Rhodes said, tidying a stray hair by her neck. "Also, there's a private dinner party tomorrow night."
Stella Sterling's brows shot up. "Do you want me to go with you?"
The man parted his lips and said lightly, "Not me. Mrs. Rhodes wants to take you."
Stella Sterling sucked in a sharp breath, instantly growing a little nervous.
She had never set foot in a private party hosted by the top families of the Vesper Circle.
But the tabloids on Vesper Island had certainly described such grand scenes with plenty of embellishment.
