She called to let Phoebe Pierce know, then had Miles drive her to Starsea City.
Claire Shawcross had arrived a few minutes before her.
When they met downstairs, Claire Shawcross stated her opinion, "I don't think Ethan Quinn did it."
Stella Sterling agreed. "He has no reason to."
Claire Shawcross studied Stella Sterling's face, wanting to say something but holding back.
'This silly girl still has no idea she's the one Ethan Quinn likes.'
'From a friend's perspective, Ethan Quinn really had no reason to do something like this.'

Before Claire Shawcross could voice her own theory,
Stella Sterling blurted out an idea that mirrored her own. "Just because he didn't do it doesn't mean he doesn't know about it."
The foreign friend's university was the same as Ethan Quinn's—same department, same major.
And Miles had said that this Anthony had no recent entry records.
