「Three years later.」
Holly Sinclair and Wendy Wyatt were tired from shopping, so they found a café to rest their feet.
"What's wrong? You don't seem to be in high spirits today."
Wendy Wyatt took an elegant sip of her coffee, her inquisitive gaze fixed on her best friend's listless face.
"It's nothing, just a little tired," Holly Sinclair replied languidly, gazing distractedly out the window.
"You're not pregnant again, are you?!"
Wendy Wyatt's imagination ran wild as she blurted it out.
"*Ahem*... What nonsense are you talking about?" Holly nearly choked, shooting her friend an exasperated glare.
"No, seriously. The way you're so lethargic, with no energy for anything, really makes you look pregnant." Wendy, however, was studying her with a completely serious expression, paying extra attention to her stomach.
"What is wrong with you? What kind of creature do you think I am, capable of asexual reproduction?" Holly retorted irritably.
"PFFT!"
