The *Me and the Big Boss* project was composed of three parts.
The first part was the invitation segment. Participating celebrities were required to film the entire process of extending their invitations. This was to make it clear to the audience that nothing was staged. Once a celebrity decided on a partner, their actual invitation attempt would be filmed documentary-style. As a result, there were no pre-written scripts; the entire process had to unfold naturally.
