Blair White entered the hospital room, carrying chicken soup.
Just as Megan Kane was about to leave, she heard a commotion from inside.
Jason Forrester had thrown both the person and the chicken soup out of the room.
It seemed like he was putting on a show for Megan Kane, trying to prevent her from getting the wrong idea.
But Megan Kane was in no mood to care about their drama. She still hadn't managed to sort out her own problems.
And of course, that was the moment her phone started to ring.
"Where are you right now? Can you get over here quickly? I have an emergency that I need you to handle."
The voice on the other end of the line was Rowan Monroe's, and she sounded frantic. Megan had no idea what could have happened.
"Don't panic. Just tell me clearly, what's going on over there?"
Megan Kane couldn't understand why her best friend suddenly sounded so anxious. What on earth had happened?
