"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Let's talk this out! What are you doing?!"
Zoe Rhodes thought Donovan Donovan was angry that she had just ditched him and run off. "I didn't mean to leave you behind!"
"Let me explain!"
"You're a young master of the Donovan Family. If you got caught, nothing would happen. But it's a different story for me."
"I don't have an ID. It would be hard to explain if I got caught."
"Done talking?" Donovan Donovan raised an eyebrow, then smiled as he tied a dead knot around her wrist. "I never realized before what a good little liar you are."
"..."
Zoe Rhodes was one step away from shouting that she'd been wronged. "I just came out to get something to eat! It's not like I wanted this to happen!"
"Fine, fine, just take me to the police station. Tell them I'm the one who hit him."
Giving up, she turned her head to the side, a clear sign she refused to engage with him any further.
