Summer Thorne looked up, staring at him as if she'd seen a ghost. "What are you doing here?"
The expression on Sidney Tate's face faltered for a moment before he answered honestly, "I came to pick up a suit for Mr. Crawford. I'll be going now."
With that, he gave Brandon Crawford another nod and quickly turned to leave.
Summer Thorne truly had no idea what that was all about. She looked at Brandon Crawford, completely bewildered. "Do you understand what's going on?"
Brandon Crawford paused for a moment. "It's likely a way of showing his support."
"What kind of support?"
Brandon Crawford's gaze fell on the jewelry box. "He's afraid that in your eagerness for revenge, you'll go down the wrong path," he said slowly. "This is his way of telling you that he supports you, that you have many options, and that you shouldn't make any rash decisions."
After hearing this, Summer Thorne first blinked in silence, then erupted into uncontrollable laughter.
