Before she could finish, Leo Morgan interrupted her, saying, "I'm sorry, but I've already given that painting to a friend. It's no longer in my possession."
Madam Draper scoffed, her tone still tinged with sourness. "A worthless painting. I have no idea what's so special about it that you're all fighting over it."
Faced with this undisguised mockery, Leo Morgan simply offered a tolerant smile and didn't try to defend himself.
Summer Thorne pretended not to notice the flirtatious glances passing between them and continued, "Then who is this friend of yours, Mr. Morgan? Would you mind sharing their information with me?"
"I'm sorry, but that's not something I can disclose," Leo Morgan replied bluntly.
Madam Draper instantly rolled her eyes again.
An unmistakable look of disappointment crossed Summer Thorne's face. "I know I can't force you, but... is there really no chance?"
Leo Morgan gently shook his head, his attitude still mild. "I'm sorry. I'm afraid I can't help you."
