"No," Leo Morgan replied. "I'm going to Sudor Manor."
Summer Thorne's heart jolted at the mention of the location.
That was where Laura Thorne had been living when Summer first went to see her. It was also where she had seen the painting, Rose.
No matter how hard she tried to stay calm, Summer couldn't pretend that nothing was amiss.
Her voice inevitably grew a little heavy. "Mr. Morgan, are you visiting a friend, or do you own property there?"
Hearing this, Leo Morgan let out a soft sigh and said, "I'm just going to have a look."
Summer pressed her lips together, suddenly unable to ask anything more.
Some of these clues were surfacing too coincidentally, too smoothly. It was hard not to suspect that someone was deliberately orchestrating things.
Especially when that someone was sitting right beside her.
Summer even suspected that if she were to mention Laura Thorne right now, Leo Morgan would launch into a whole series of related stories.
