The sudden question stunned Summer Thorne for a moment, leaving her completely baffled.
"What?"
She had absolutely no idea how to respond.
Fortunately, Timothy York didn't seem to be expecting a definite answer from her. After gazing at her quietly for a moment, he removed his hand and got out of bed.
Summer Thorne still hadn't quite processed it. Watching him, she asked, "Are you leaving?"
Only then did Timothy York look up at her again and state frankly, "To take a shower."
That answer startled Summer Thorne all over again.
She quickly reached out and grabbed him. After a slight frown, she whispered, "Can't you just wait and shower when you get back home?"
"I can't," Timothy York replied.
Summer Thorne couldn't help but grit her teeth.
