After all, while the relationships and interests involved in matters of the heart could be complex, at the end of the day, it was all just human nature.

Summer Thorne's influence over Timothy York had far exceeded his expectations.
It shouldn't have been this way.
But evidently, Timothy York didn't think Silas's concerns were his to address.
Because in response to Silas Dunn's sudden questioning, Timothy York didn't address it at all, instead just answering his previous question—
"How he investigates is his business. Whether or not he can find you depends on your own skills," Timothy York said. "If you can't even handle something like this, what future plans can you even make?"
Silas Dunn took a moment to process this, then narrowed his eyes at him.
