Summer Thorne quickly answered the phone.
"Haven't you gone home yet?" Timothy York asked from the other end of the line.
'He didn't go to the Suttons' to look for me again, did he?'
As the thought crossed her mind, Summer answered honestly, "No, I still have a few things to take care of."
Hearing her reply, Timothy York fell silent for a moment before asking, "When will you be done?"
"Why? Does Mr. York need me for something?" Summer asked deliberately. "Can't you tell me over the phone?"
Timothy York's voice was deep and steady. "Let's talk after you're finished."
"In that case, Mr. York, you might have a long wait."
With that, Summer decisively hung up. She stared at the screen, lost in thought for a moment, before remembering to call Xavier Lockwood.
A little over ten minutes later, Xavier Lockwood's car pulled up to pick her up.
"What did he bring you here for?" Xavier Lockwood asked.
"To copy sutras. To help his mother's soul find peace."
