Luz calling her mother to confirm the place both of them need to meet at the palace. Black that saw the two of them standing at the corner greet Noir that looking at the garden nearby.
"Where both of you going after this?" Black asked.
"Luz's mother invites us to their tea party at the palace with the king, but we didn't know which room they use." Noir answered. Luz ended the call after he talked a while with his mother on the phone.
"Both of you want to go to the tea party with King Zois and Duchess Rose?" Black asked again.
"Yes, my mother did invite us." Luz said.
"Let me escort you there. Duchess also invites me to join them." Black suggested.
"Thank you for your help, sir." Luz thanked him.
The three of them walk toward a room on the upper floor of the palace. On the way they are going there, they saw Vermillion talking with Duke Shamrock. Both of them seems close.
"Isn't that your father?" Noir asked Luz.
"Yes, I didn't know father quite close to Duke Shamrock." Luz said making both Black and Noir look at each other.
"Come now, this is the way to upper floor. They maybe have some important thing to discuss." Black urged both of them. Luz and Noir just trail along.
Noir been thinking for a while. She asked Luz to show off the black obsidian pendant that she gave him the other day and making sure the necklace contain with his wedding ring stay well hidden in his cloth.
"Is there any meaning of doing this?" Luz puzzled.
"Trust me. I tell you later. When we are going back." Noir said. Luz obeys her and letting the pendant hang out from his neck. Black that saw the scene smirked.
"How do you want to explain it to them?" Black asked Noir when they reach to the door while Luz knocks on it.
"Do they know our code?" Noir wondered. Black nod.
"Then master, I hope you can support me." Noir said making Black smiles.
The three of them walk into the room. They feel amaze looking how spacious the room is, and on the table already been served all kind of sweet and snack for them. Rose looks at the three of them and King Zois asked them to sit down after they give formal respect toward both of them. Luz sits beside his mother while Black and Noir sit opposite of them.
"Thank you, Your Highness inviting us to join your tea party today. It is a great honour for us." Luz said.
"Well, don't be formal here. Just enjoy this tea casually." Zois said. Noir looks around planning to start the conversation on how to tell the king and Rose about her relationship with Luz. Rose puzzled to see her looks around like searching for something.
"Are you uncomfortable, Noir?" Rose asked politely. Noir looks at Black. Black just nod making both Zois and Rose notice.
"This room really comfortable and cozy. But first of all, I'm sorry if what I am thinking might be rude and disrespect toward Your Highness and Your Grace. I think this room can be lit up by hanging white rose to make it more beautiful." Noir said. Rose and Zois look at Noir with wondered. They feel that Noir want to hint something for them.
"Hanging white rose at four corners?" Black said staring at Zois. Zois seems to understand while Rose still tries to figure out the meaning.
"I see. Better than white rose under table." Zois joked but making Rose realise they want this conversation to become secret. Rose laughed.
"You really love to joke but I think it better the white rose hanging at the four corners." Rose said nod at Noir signalling her that she understands the meaning.
While Zois, Black and Luz chatting and drinking their tea, Noir notice Rose ring and have an idea. She is tucking her front hair behind her left ear showing the black obsidian earing making Rose look at it.
"How are your husband?" Rose asked while Noir sip her tea.
"Fine, Your Grace. Never than better." Noir smile and signalling Rose to looks toward Luz that talking with Black.
Rose follows Noir gaze toward Luz and notices a pendant hanging on his neck. The same pendant she saw Noir buy at the market for her husband which she calls the gemstone as 'the stone of truth'. She widens her eyes and looks back at Noir. Noir nod as a gesture of conformation. Rose behaviour making Zois look toward Luz and Noir also. He also notices the same jewellery on both of them. Someone knocks making all of the turn toward the door. Vermillion comes in with a smile on his face and greet them happily before sitting opposite of Zois. Black look at Noir, Zois and Rose earning a puzzle on Luz face. A maid come toward to pouring the drink into Vermillion cup when suddenly Noir stop her.
"Your Highness, is it alright if I'm pouring the tea to each of you?" Noir volunteered.
"I will be delight." Zois said asking the maid to give it to Noir.
"It's my honour to serve you this tea." Noir said and walked toward Zois with teapot in her hand.
"Do you like flower?" Zois asked but his gaze full of meaning like asking to clarify something with their conversation earlier.
"Yes, I do. What I like the most is the queen of night." Noir said and poured the tea into Zois cup. She goes toward Rose and does it the same.
"Pink carnation also seems nice." Noir said as she pours the drink for Rose.
I also like red camellia and pink peony. Both of it really beautiful." Noir said as she pours Luz drink.
"Calla lily and begonia also nice cause I see someone plant it together the other day." Noir added after she finish pouring the drink for Vermillion.
"I also like purple orchid. But it really rare to find one here." Noir said while pouring the drink for Black before she pours for herself and sit down.
"You really seem to like many flowers, but have you seen a white chrysanthemum flower? I see it once and cannot forget about it till now." Black said while raising his cup toward Noir.
"Such a rare flower I hope I can see it." Noir replied and drank her tea.
The five of them talking happily about any topic without talking about work and the kingdom issues. Some joking around and they seem to enjoy till evening.
"I'm sorry, I need to go now. I have to meet Shamrock." Vermillion said.
"I think the three of us also need to go home now. Thank you for the splendid evening brother." Rose said. Luz and Noir also thanking them for the invitation of the tea party.
"I really proud I meet someone like you, Noir. A blue lotus might suit you well." Zois said.
"It such an honour to meet you also, my king. From your view, blue lotus might suit me, but I'm just prefer the queen of night." Noir said. Zois smiles. The four of the walks out from the room leaving Zois and Black alone.
"You really have a great student, Black. She really has wisdom. You guide her well." Zois said.
"I still wonder. Why she represents begonia to Vermillion? Calla Lily seems the right choice but begonia…" Zois wondered.
"I think maybe because of Duke Shamrock. Vermillion seems close to him." Black replied.
"That duke? I also feel he have an agenda. Are there others she feels off about?" Zois said.
"Capri. She said that both of them are Rhododendron." Black answered.
"Rhododendron… means beware or danger. Black tells Grey to investigate both of them without they notice. Just let the three of us know about this matter." Zois ordered.
"Yes, Your Highness." Black bow down a little with respect.
