Noir walk into Luz's study room after he ask Nero to told her that he wants to meet her there. Noir knock before she enters the study room. As she closes the door behind her, Luz asked her to lock it up. Noir just follow his instruction and lock the door before heading toward the sofa to sit on it. On the table she saw a few batches of report including her own report that she already finishes that evening. Luz comes toward her and sits beside her. He hugs her making Noir sighed a little.
"What is it, Luz?" Noir asked when her husband show affection toward her.
"Nothing, just miss you. It feels lonely when you not beside me." Luz said still hugging his wife.
"You know why we do this, right? But I never said you cannot come to my room." Noir said.
"But they will be suspicious if they see me entering your room." Luz pouted. Noir shake her head looking at Luz behave like spoiling child.
"Who's said you need to use the door?" Noir smirked making Luz realised that their room balcony just next to each other.
"I'll do that later." Luz said sheepishly.
"So, we will enter the palace tomorrow. How's my report?" Noir asked.
"I'm already compile it with mine and we really make a huge discover on this. I never expect that our rat is so close to us. I will be presenting it to Sir Grey and wait for him to give order for eliminate the rats." Luz replied. Noir nodded.
As the two discussing about it for a while, Noir stop and told Luz it already late and they need to get rest for tonight.
"Aww… Don't go yet." Luz said and held her wife hand. Noir rolled her eyes.
"Seriously, my dad behaviour really rubs onto you." Noir rolled her eyes again.
"I really wish I keep you tonight." Luz said with disappointment. Noir touch Luz face with both her hand. Luz surprised. Noir suddenly kiss him with passionate.
"We still have plenty of time Luz. We didn't want to get our family and friends in danger, right? As a Shadow and as Marquess. I also wish we can be like this forever, holding hand, teasing each other, but until the Black Serpent is gone, it really hard for us. But if you decide to reveal everything to our friends and family, I will follow you." Noir said. Luz thanks her and kiss her back.

"Morning Lord Luz, morning madam Noir." Crow, one of Vermillion guard greeted them.
"Morning, Crow." Noir greeted back while trailing Luz from behind to go into the carriage. Luz just nod.
"We will be at the palace if the others ask." Nero said to Crow.
"Alright." Crow replied.
After a while riding inside the carriage, the carriage go toward the palace entrance and stop. Luz gives a letter to the palace guard, and they permit them to enter. A man waiting at the palace entrance with a smile on his face.
"Lieutenant Luz, Sergeant Noir, welcome. I will escort both of you to see Sir Grey." The man said.
"Morning Mink. Long time no sees. How are you now?" Noir greeted earning a puzzle from Luz because her wife recognises the man. Luz looks toward Noir.
"It seems that you knew each other." Luz said.
"We are in the same squad at the training academy before we got into the Alliance." Noir said. Mink that knows the way Luz looking at me suddenly interrupt.
"Don't worry, I already taken. I will be married soon." Mink said making Noir surprised.
"Hey, you never told me." Noir said.
"By the way she also already married." Luz said. Noir glare at him.
"What?! Who's the crazy man marrying the she-devil?" Mink said earning a slap on the forearm by Noir. Noir pouted. Luz just smiles to see her wife reaction.
"Alright, stop talking about me and bring us to Sir Grey." Noir continue pouted. Mink chuckles and escort them toward Sir Grey's room at the palace.
The palace is huge and contains many room with a lot of guards guarding each corner of the palace. Some of the nobles seems to be discussing something at the other room and some of the noble ladies seems to be enjoying tea at the garden. As they walk toward the end of a corner at the palace, two men in their late 40's seems discussing something a stop when the three of them approaching them.
"Morning, Mink. Who is this?" The man in the noble outfit asked.
"Good morning, Your Excellency, Duke Shamrock, Your Honourable Prime Minister, Mister Capri. This two is Sir grey guests, Lieutenant Luz and Sergeant Noir. They here are to report on the annual inspection for the Alliance." Mink introduced them to both men. Both Luz and Noir give a respect bow to both men standing in front of them.
"Thank you for your hard work. The Alliance is proud to have two dedicated officers like you two. Keep up the good work." Capri said.
"Thank you, your honourable. We take our leave first." Mink said and looking at Luz and Noir urging them to follow him from behind.
Luz and Noir bow down a little to respect them before they trailed Mink from behind. The two men just looks at them disappearing toward the corner of the palace. Mink looking at his surrounding before he talked again with Luz and Noir. Noir notice his behaviour and spoke to him.
"Eyes and ears?" she said.
"Yes, but here is clear." Mink replied as he knew what Noir mean.
"Shadow, do not involve with those two." Mint said as he giving a hint to them.
"Rhododendron?" Noir suspected.
"Yes." Mink replied back. Luz looks at both of them with puzzled.
"I tell you later." Noir said earning a nod from Luz.
The three of them finally stop a large room. Mink knocks on the door and someone from inside told him to enter. He opens the door and letting both of them in before closing the door from behind. Two men in early 50's sitting at the sofa looking at a pile of paper. Mink invites Luz and Noir to sit in front of them while he sits beside Sir Grey. Luz begins his report about their finding while the other just listen. After finish reporting, the three of them sighed.
"It's become much deeper than we anticipated. Thank you for your hard work, Shadow." Sir Grey said.
Noir looks at Luz as she wants him to tell the others about what they already discuss before. This earns a puzzle from the three of them.
"Is it alright? But Commander Black and Mint is here." Luz said.
"Don't worry, they are on our side. I also owe Mint an explanation." Noir confirmed.
"What is it?" Sir Grey asked. Luz pulled out their certificate that already has his Marquess seal on it and put it on the table for the three of them look at. The three of them shocked.
"We decide to tell Sir Grey this first, but I never expect that Commander and Mink also need to know this." Luz said. The three of them look at Noir with surprised.
"The she-devil is married to Marquess?" Mink said earning a smacked on his back head by Sir Grey.
"I'm sorry, my lord for my son behaviour. So, my lady Noir, your Marquise now?" Sir Grey said. Noir nod.
"Just Noir, Sir Grey. I'm a Shadow before my Marquise." Noir said.
"Master Grey, Mink is your son?" Luz surprised.
"Master?" Noir and Mink said with unison.
"Sir Grey is my master. I am training with him personally." Luz explained.
"Mink is my only son. You haven't meet him because he insists on training with Black." Sir Grey also explained to Luz.
"Camellia?" Black said earning a puzzled from Grey and Luz.
"Camellia." Noir replied earning a smile on Black face. Mink widens his smiles.
"Congratulation and I wish you happy always." Mink said while Noir thank them.
"I think both of us need to go now." Luz said.
"Both of you be careful." Black said. Luz and Noir nod. Both of them walk out from the room leaving the three men behind.
