Chapter 6 - Returning Home

He glides through the village on his way to his destination. The townsfolk give him weird looks, but he doesn't seem to mind—he just passes through the tribe. The village seems infinite, like a labyrinth, with distinct names separating nests of tribes where several families live.

While the world of Kayal is under the monarchy rule of the Queen—where everyone in the world is below the Queen—the Queen is like a mother to almost every royal soldier and many nests. Not just the Queen; every woman is considered a divine being and revered greatly. Even in the village, All the young women and children are all sent to the Queen's chamber to train until they reach their certain age and are ready to produce heirs.

While Drake enters a familiar nest, he stumbles over something. He looks down—two kids are holding his legs! One is slightly older than the other. They shout, "Drake is back! Drake is back!" with huge smiles on their faces. Drake says with a faint smile, "Okay, okay, I'm here—so don't trip my legs anymore!"

While he's talking, the people of the nest show up one by one. There are some more kids, a couple of men in their thirties and forties in normal dress, and some warriors of ranks. They greet him for his safe return and brave act of fighting a ravager as a mere listener at such a young age.

While they were talking, an old woman walked near him. After seeing her, everyone bows! These men are proud warriors of the Crier Tribe—some even royal warriors—yet they put their knees down and bow to the old lady. They don't do it out of fear or any external force oppressing them; it's out of pure respect and love for their mother.

The old lady says, "Everyone, stand straight!" and comes near Drake. In a funny tone, she adds, "Come on, you don't have to do this every time! Aren't you guys bored of this already?" A man stands up and says, "Not at all, Mother. We are bound to respect you more than our lives!" Hearing it, everyone felt proud—even the little ones stayed silent and respectful.

"Ehh, whatever. Don't be so rigid. And where is my cute little boy Drake? I don't see him! You're all grown up now, huh?" He stands and goes near her, heads down, and says, "Sorry, Mother. I failed to kill it."

After hearing what he said, there seems to be some noise in the group—like, "What the heck is he talking about? Killing a ravager? Even I can't do that alone! What is he thinking?" While hearing these talks, the old woman pats his head and says, "Don't be so hard on yourself, boy. It is okay to fail at an impossible task—and you even failed with flying colors! So it's okay. I'm sure you will be able to do what you want, know what you want to know, and ascend where you want to go. For now, look before the achievements you made and the family that you left behind, which awaits you!"

While saying this, her face becomes a little emotional. Suddenly, she changes it to a happy face and says, "So for now, be happy that you can see your old mother! What would happen to me if you were to go again and come back to a lifeless body so, Be grateful!"

Hearing that, everyone's faces fell, heads down, with unbearable pain surging in their hearts. "Don't say that, Mother! You will live a healthy life and get to see what your little boy can achieve and to reach greatness!" While speaking firmly with everyone, the man behind the old lady—supposedly her close aide and bodyguard—leans in and says something in the woman's ear.

After hearing it, the old lady says to Drake, "Kid, it seems the head of the nest wishes to see you. I wish I'd said so sooner." Hearing that, Drake stands up and marches into the beautiful expanse of the nest with the man who stood behind the old lady.

All along, the houses in the village seem to be made of wood from the Alam tree, which gives life to the people of this world. The tribe seems very secular, like a community of people living together in harmony and peace

As the nothingness of the abyss is silent. There is a voice: "Listen! Listen to what I say—it's very important! It..." The voice is very low, like a whisper, and before it can finish, Levize wakes up from sleep in a gasp. "Ahh! Ahh! Ahh! Ahh!"

He looks sideways—Queen Rishya has collapsed from using her power on him for so long. There seems to be a little blood coming from her left eye. He stands up with a troubled expression on his face and quietly washes the blood off. It was white in color—the highest level of pure blood in the Kayal world. "Such truest and rarest blood should not be spilled on the ground for someone like me."

He calls the maid girls waiting outside to help the Queen. The maids who came in had Porcelain like skin and white hair and eyes they came in and picked the queen up and made her lay on the bed properly Even in that spent state, the Queen seems to maintain her young look. She has white hair and eyes just like other tribe members, and her silky hair falls to her waist, and her flawless face just might be the most beautiful thing other than the luminous Alam tree that light up this world and the queen serves as a hope of light to the members of the tribe in the whole wide world.

Even in the darkest of place in this world the light of the queen saves and the darkness of the queen devours. She serves as the perfect balance of the world. A being like that is in this much exhausted because of a man slept within her power for a couple of hours.

What could have levize actually did to gain this much power.
