[Scene 1: The Release]
Light Yagami stepped out of the isolation cell. His eyes were clear, his posture relaxed, and for the first time in weeks, his heart rate was perfectly normal. He looked at L, who was watching him with a mixture of obsession and confusion.
"I told you, Ryuzaki," Light said softly. "I don't know who Kira is. But I want to help you find him. If someone is using my name to kill, I want to be the one to stop them."
[Scene 2: The Handcuffs]
L didn't look convinced, but he didn't have a choice. Criminals were still dying, even while Light was locked up.
"Very well, Light-kun," L said, holding up a long, titanium chain. "If you want to help, you will stay within five meters of me at all times. We will be handcuffed together. 24 hours a day."
Light looked at the chain. Without his memories of the Death Note, he felt a genuine sense of justice. "Fine. If that's what it takes to prove I'm not a murderer, I'll do it."
[Scene 3: The New Kira Emerges]
Far away from the headquarters, in a high-rise office building, a man named Higuchi sat at a desk, grinning. He held the black notebook that Rem had given him.
"With this power," Higuchi whispered, "I don't just kill criminals. I kill my competition. I will make this company the greatest in Japan, and Kira will be the one who rules from the shadows."
Rem watched him from the corner, her eyes cold. 'You are nothing compared to Light Yagami,' she thought. 'But for now, you are the perfect distraction.'
[Scene 4: The Hunt Begins]
Back at the HQ, Light and L sat side by side, their wrists linked by the chain. They were looking at the latest heart attack victims.
"The patterns have changed, Ryuzaki," Light noted, his genius mind already analyzing the data. "Kira isn't just killing criminals anymore. He's killing corporate executives. This isn't 'justice'... this is greed."
L looked at Light. 'His logic is as sharp as ever,' L thought. 'Either he truly lost his memory, or he is playing the greatest game in human history.'
