Aries'POV
I woke up in the middle of the night because my stomach was growling. I decided to head to the kitchen to find a snack, but leaving the bed was like trying to navigate a minefield.
I tried to step down from my side of the bed, but my foot landed on something soft—pretty sure it was Percy's arm. I pulled back and tried a different spot, but this time I almost stepped right on his face. I swear, if he were awake right now, he'd be screaming about his "handsome face" being ruined.
I thought about going out through the foot of the bed, but then I remembered Jayjay was sleeping there. She sleeps exactly like Percy—legs in one corner, body in the other. It was a dead end.
My only option was to jump over Keifer. Honestly, it would be so embarrassing if he woke up right as I was mid-air above him. I noticed a tiny bit of space behind him, so I prepped myself to jump. Just as my leg was in the air, he shifted. I froze, thinking he was awake, but he just settled back into a deep sleep.
I managed to land on the small space behind him and glanced at Yuri. Thank god one person in this house sleeps decently. Unlike Percy and Jayjay, Yuri wasn't flailing around.
I finally made it out of the room and crept downstairs. I went straight to the fridge and hit the jackpot: a tray with eight bowls of pudding. I pulled the whole tray out, set it on the dining table, and then climbed up to sit on the table itself. I was bored and restless, and sitting on the table just felt more right than sitting in a chair.

I woke up to strange noises coming from the kitchen. I crept over and saw a shadow sitting on the dining table, shovel-feeding something into its mouth.
"HOI!" I yelled.
"HOI!" Aries yelled back, fumbling to catch his spoon before it hit the floor.
"I didn't know Horoscopes got scared so easily," I teased, walking into the room.
"Look where you're standing! You're right in the doorway where there's no light. I couldn't see you at all!" he defended himself.
"What are you eating? I want some too." He shook his head immediately, trying to hide the tray. "Oh, come on! Look, there are eight bowls. You have one, there are seven left. Four for me, four for you. Perfect math!"
I climbed up and sat beside him on the table—thankfully, it was sturdy enough for both of us. After a bit of begging, he finally gave in. I reached for a bowl, but then I spotted another shadow standing in the doorway.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed, nearly dropping my pudding.
Keifer'sPOV
I had woken up earlier when the bed started shaking. I opened my eyes just in time to see Aries standing over me with one leg in the air, looking like a frozen statue. I shifted my position to give him room, and he finally scrambled out.
I decided to go check on Jayjay. I checked the mattress on Aries' side—Percy. I checked the one on my side, but the blanket was pulled up over the person's head, and I knew that wasn't Jayjay's style. I checked the foot of the bed, but it was empty.
I headed downstairs and found her and Aries sitting right on top of the dining table like a couple of kids. When Jayjay saw me, she let out a scream that probably woke the neighbors. I ran over and covered her mouth to quiet her down.
"What are you guys eating?" I asked.
"Pudding," they said in unison.
"Okay, so there were eight bowls," I calculated. "You two have one each, so there are six left. Let's put two in the fridge for Yuri and Percy, and then we'll each have two more."
They both shook their heads, but I caught Jayjay's eye and gave her a quick wink. She caught on immediately and agreed, which forced Aries to give up his hoard too. We all moved over to the couch.
"Where did you go, Jay?" I asked.
"You guys were snoring so loudly I couldn't sleep, so I came down here," she grumbled, taking another bite. I nodded and then turned to Aries. "By the way, why were you trying to parkour over me earlier?"
Aries looked incredibly embarrassed. "I was hungry! I tried to get out from my side, but I almost stepped on Percy's face. Then I realized Jayjay sleeps like a starfish too, so I had no choice but to climb over you."
Jayjay and I burst out laughing.
"Okay, Aries, you go back up. Keifer will put the rest of the pudding away," Jayjay said. He looked suspicious for a second but eventually headed back upstairs.
"Okay, now let's eat!" I said, reaching for the tray.
Jayjay shook her head. "Why?"
"Because Aries thinks we're only eating those two! We have to wait until he's settled so we can finish them before anyone else wakes up," she whispered, starting to push me toward the stairs. I gave her a look, and she stopped. "Don't look at me like that."
"Like what?" I asked, grinning.
"Like you're so innocent!"
"I am innocent," I insisted.
"Oh, come on. You and 'innocent' don't even belong in the same sentence. Innocence hasn't even touched you!" she laughed.
"Jayjay..." I warned, but she just kept laughing.
"Okay, okay! Now go!"
I headed back to the room, climbed into bed, and fell asleep instantly. After all, a two-bowl pudding bribe is a pretty good way to end the night.
Jayjay'sPOV
I woke up again and it was that weird time when the sun is just starting to think about rising. I crept back up to Aries' room to grab my phone, but the scene on the bed stopped me dead in my tracks. I nearly burst out laughing.
I shook Yuri awake. He started to say something, but I clamped my hand over his mouth and pointed at the bed. Keifer and Aries were dead asleep, fully hugging each other. It was gold.
"I'll take a video," Yuri whispered, his eyes widening. I nodded eagerly as he pulled out his phone. I took it from him to narrate.
"See Keifer and Aries hugging each other? Should I tell Ella or yell at Aries because he stole my man? But first, let's add Percy to the pile."
Yuri and I moved like ninjas. I grabbed Percy's hands, Yuri took his legs, and we carefully hoisted him onto the bed next to Aries. Percy immediately rolled over and hugged him too. I turned the camera back on them.
"So now, both my brothers have stolen my man," I whispered.
"Jayjay," Yuri whispered. I looked over and saw him holding a permanent marker with a grin that could only mean trouble. "Here. Write on their foreheads while I record."
He handed me the marker and took the phone. I started with Percy: "I love my sister." Then I moved to Aries and wrote the same thing. Then I got to Keifer and looked at Yuri. "What should I write on his?"
"Write 'I love my wife,'" Yuri whispered, grinning.
"HEY!" I blushed, but then I shrugged. "Fine, it'll be funny."
Just as I finished the last letter, Keifer shifted. Yuri and I dove for the floor, heart racing. If they caught us, we were dead meat. Once the coast was clear, Yuri held the phone up to my face like a microphone.
"So, where were you all night?" he asked in his best reporter voice.
"The four of you were snoring so loud I couldn't sleep!" I said dramatically.
"Then how did you sleep?"
"I went to the couch downstairs," I replied.
"Does your back hurt?"
"Nope. I have more strength than you think," I said proudly.
Yuri laughed and tucked his phone away. "Ok, ok. I'm going back to sleep since it's so early."
I nodded, feeling pretty satisfied with our masterpiece, and headed back down to my couch.
The End 🌸
