Takeru's consciousness suddenly shifted.
For a brief moment, everything went quiet.
Then—
FLASH.
His eyes opened.
He was back in his original body.
The body that had been occupied by his copy while he was in Sendai.
Takeru stretched.
"…There we go."
He looked around.
Tokyo Colony 2 was surprisingly calm.
Almost suspiciously calm.
A few steps away—
Hakari was sitting around with Kirara.
Both Kiraras were there.
Aika, Akari, and Raiden were nearby.
Takeru waved.
"Hey, everyone."
Hakari looked over.
"…Takeru?"
Takeru nodded.
"Yep."
Hakari stared at him for a moment.
"…You switched back?"
"Yeah."
Raiden crossed his arms.
"Where were you?"
"Sendai. Then Sakurajima."
Akari blinked.
"You've been traveling between colonies this entire time?"
Takeru shrugged.
"Consciousness swapping is pretty convenient."
Aika smiled.
"…Did anything happen?"
Takeru thought about it.
"I got punched a lot."
Hakari raised an eyebrow.
"That sounds normal for you."
"Fair."
Takeru looked around.
Everyone appeared to be fine.
No major injuries.
No emergency.
He nodded.
"Alright."
He stretched his arms overhead.
"Looks like you guys are doing good."
Hakari grinned.
"Of course."
Takeru smiled.
"Good."
He glanced toward the others.
"Keep it that way."
Then he looked toward the city beyond the barrier.
"…Now."
A small grin appeared.
"Let's see what we've got going on here."
