Hakari was leaning back in his chair like he'd just won a war he refused to explain.
Kirara was quietly staring into the distance like she'd accepted fate.
Geto, meanwhile, was calmly holding Takeru's phone like a man who had seen too much.
Yuji leaned forward.
"…Is it over?"
Megumi didn't look up.
"…We'll know soon enough."
Nobara squinted.
"…Why do I feel like something illegal just happened."
Takeru stretched casually.
"Cart review time."
He held out his hand.
Geto handed the phone back without hesitation.
"…Final total?" Geto asked flatly.
Takeru tapped the screen once.
Twice.
Paused.
"…Hmm."
A beat.
Hakari immediately leaned forward.
"…Don't say hmm like that."
Kirara closed her eyes.
"…Please don't be proud of whatever this is."
Takeru nodded slowly.
"…Impressive."
Silence.
Yuji blinked.
"…That's not a reassuring word in this context."
Megumi muttered.
"…That usually means catastrophe."
Takeru continued.
"You added… a lot."
Hakari pointed proudly.
"…Efficiency items."
Kirara immediately turned.
"…That is not a category."
Geto sighed.
"…Define 'a lot.'"
Takeru tilted the phone slightly.
"…Let's just say…"
A pause.
"…you discovered new sections of the store."
Silence.
Yuji grabbed his head.
"…WHY WOULD THERE BE NEW SECTIONS."
Nobara leaned in.
"…Did they buy a building?"
Hakari shrugged.
"…We optimized logistics."
Megumi stared at him.
"…That is not an explanation."
Takeru finally set the phone down.
"Anyway."
A pause.
"Approved."
Geto blinked once.
"…You're not upset?"
Takeru shrugged.
"You survived the forest."
A beat.
"And stayed within the hour."
Hakari grinned.
"…So we passed?"
Takeru nodded.
"Barely."
Kirara sighed in relief.
"…I think that's the best outcome we could've hoped for."
Yuji looked between all of them.
"…We're never doing this again, right?"
Megumi answered instantly.
"…We are absolutely doing this again."
And Takeru, already walking away casually, added one final line—
"…Next time I'm increasing the time limit."
Silence.
Hakari laughed.
Kirara groaned.
