Soon enough I returned to the Hazbin Hotel with Selina in tow as we reappeared within the hotel lobby.
"…. Nope I've already seen enough freaky shit for a lifetime." The cat man behind the counter, Husk, said as he saw us both suddenly materialize out of shadows in the middle of the lobby.
"Well that tends to happen down here in Hell doesn't it? Pretty hardcore shit happens in the more seedier parts, by the way I haven't introduced myself. The names Orion and I run the Dream Shop right over there." I say holding out my hand for a handshake.
But he doesn't reciprocate and just keeps cleaning a glass, "Dream Shop huh? What exactly does a 'Dream Shop' even sell?"
"Anything."
"Anything?"
"Yep, you name it and I sell it, clothes, food, drugs, weapons and even…." I say as I reach towards him before suddenly the leash of his soul contract appears on his neck as I grab it.
"Ugh!" He chokes in surprise with is suddenly appearing, but I'm not trying to strangle him it's just what happens when the leash appears.
"Break this leash on your soul at that, though it comes at a price." I say before tossing it back at him as it disappears while he holds his neck. The shock was plastered all over his face.
Not just him but Selina was surprised by that, "Oh right you haven't been down here in hell long have you now? Well simply put he offered up his soul in a contract and now an Overlord owns his soul as they are the only ones powerful enough to be able to hold leashes like that. By the way you don't need to worry about that as I don't need to hold you under contract like those down here in hell can." I say while Husk looks at me angrily.
"Alright let's get you ready in the shop Selina, after all it's what I hired you for not to mention you owe me after saving your life earlier." I say to her as we both left Husk to himself to think that offer over.
Soon enough I pushed open the door and entered the Shop, "Welcome to Hell's very own Dream Shop where everyone's dreams come true." I said to her as I went behind the counter.
"Sooo…. We really do sell anything?" She asked to which I nodded.
"And also we buy anything at that, though the more rarer the item is the more it's worth to the shop to buy it for, like these angel wings for example, and this holy spear, all together these things are worth 50 credits!" I say to her with clear enthusiasm.
"50 credits? That doesn't sound like much." She says as she assumes that's like what? 50$ or something.
"Oh Salina! You don't even know how much a credit is worth do you? But since your new you don't know how much 1 credit is worth let alone 50. So take a guess what it's worth." I say to her.
"Uhh…. A thousand dollars?" She says thinking it's expensive based upon how I'm saying this.
"Oh please, the dollar is practically worthless in here. Credits are measured in gold as that is a precious metal anyone anywhere finds valuable and not just a single ounce of gold but a metric ton of gold equals a single credit, so these are worth 50 tons of gold!" I say to her as her eyes widened in shock.
"5-5-50 Tons!" Since this was a cartoon universe her eyes suddenly turned into golden dollar signs, hell if this was the SpongeBob verse I'd wouldn't be surprised if it actually popped out of her eyes like Mr.Crabs could do.
'Thinking about that I wonder how expensive is the Crabby Patty Secret Formula?' I couldn't help but think before snapping my fingers to pull her out of her state of money shock as I call it.
"That's right, 50 tons of gold, with that much you would be easily a Billionaire at that." I say to her, after all a single ton of gold equals 133.7 Million Dollars so 50 would push you over 6.87 billion dollars in USD.
"And when you work here I shall give you exactly a single credit for you to spend here in the shop, or to make it easier if you prefer I will transfer 133.7 Dollars into your account for you to spend however you want and you get 1 of those everyday you work here." I explain to her.
"Where do I sign boss!" She said eagerly to me to which I grinned.
So I snapped my fingers and made a contract appear right before her eyes, "Now don't worry this isn't a soul contract it's a worker's contract and an open ended one where you can choose to end the contract whenever you feel like it." I said to her while she read it over.
After seeing everything on the contract she quickly signed off on it before I took it and snapped it out of existence.
"Now your first shift will start up tomorrow morning at 6AM, and since you work with me now the benefits include in work housing so I'll show you your room." I say bringing her to the back of the shop.
Another benefit of the Level 5 upgrade to the shop the extra bedrooms expanded and now 10 bedrooms were available for everyone who works for me to use on my employees with one occupied by Kintoki though he mainly spends his time in the Pocket dimension where he can work on his Bear(Bike).
"So take your pick of whatever room you want, you can come and go as you want but you got to come in for work with two days off a week to enjoy yourself." I told her as well and then left her to get settled in.
'Now then, I should get a few more people to work here in my shop.' I think to myself before melting into the shadows all while Extermination Day came to an end before it was soon discovered two angels were killed on two separate sides of town.
And soon it was set for the events of season 1 to play out but I needed to look for some more employees to work in my shop.
