He picked all the remaining dry leaves from the pit, Carrying a handful of dry leaves that he uses b oth arms to carry on a big pile of leaves from his hands, He carried it all the way to the trap, potentially wasting his energy by carrying the leaves from the trap

Elias thinks of one solution for creating a bait, First, find a raw meat for a alternative use as bait, second, Put the meat in a bundle then tightly close the bundle in its fullest and lastly, Tie the meat in the center of the pit that Elias dug, Tying it at the rope at both ends, Leaving it hanged in the tree, Easy as that
Then, Elias immediately thinks on where to find a meat, a bait that produces a pungent smell that attracts nearby predators with the use of their senses, That kind of meat makes a perfect choice as a bait of his own
Then, one thing comes to his mind, a simplest and easiest way to get meat in the wilderness without the use of struggle
Them, Elias glances at the dead wolf that he killed earlier, he plans at the dead wolf of eating it earlier, but his sense of mind change in a bit, Instead of eating it, Why not put the flesh that the wolves has and use it as bait.
