Most of the women grumbled but synced their watches and got on with it. I looked around anxiously, not willing to address Phoenix again after what had just happened. I tapped Molly instead.
She turned to me. "Ugh, cycling. My backside is already crying."
I laughed under my breath but wrung my fingers together. "I don't have a-a... wah-watch."
She blinked then clicked. "Oh! Inside the fitness studio there is a whole locker of them. Through the double doors, second door on your right. Storage room!"
"Five minutes, ladies!" Phoenix's voice boomed across the field. "Wake up!"
"Oh-okay, thanks Molly." I smiled quickly.
She nodded and carried on stretching. As I walked away I could hear her muttering darkly about bicycle seats and the damage they did to her. I was still smiling about it when I pushed through the double doors.
