Chapter 6 - The World That Notices You

The moment Kael Ardyn touched the fragment—

The silence broke.

Not in the forest.

Not in the seal world.

But everywhere.

🩸 THE AWAKENING SIGNAL

Far above them, beyond the broken layers of reality, something shifted.

A red pulse spread across unseen skies.

Like an eye opening.

In the Dark Council realm, Lord Malzareth stopped mid-step.

"…It has begun," he whispered.

Seraphine Morwen turned sharply. "What has begun?"

Malzareth's expression darkened.

"The boy has touched a fragment."

🌍 BACK INSIDE THE SEAL

Kael stumbled backward as the fragment entered his chest.

Not physically.

But like it merged with his existence.

His vision blurred.

Images flashed through his mind:

A burning book chained in darkness A dragon screaming inside collapsing mountains A throne made of broken suns And his own face… older, colder, different

Kael gasped. "What is happening to me?!"

Jemila grabbed him immediately. "Stay with me!"

His mark burned violently now, spreading faint red lines across his arm.

Kael dropped to his knees.

"I can see things… I shouldn't see…"

Jemila's eyes widened slightly.

"That means it accepted you."

💀 THE FIRST HUNTER LORD ARRIVES

The air inside the seal cracked.

A new presence entered.

Heavy.

Intentional.

The floating ruins trembled as something stepped through reality itself.

A voice echoed:

"So… the fragment finally chose a host."

Kael looked up slowly.

A figure stood at the edge of the broken ruins.

Tall.

Armored.

Its face hidden beneath a mask shaped like a cracked sun.

Jemila's grip tightened on her blade.

"…A Hunter Lord."

Kael wiped blood from his lip. "That's different from the others?"

Jemila didn't take her eyes off it.

"Yes," she said.

"This one gives orders."

🩸 THE RULE OF THE LORD

The Hunter Lord tilted its head.

"You two carry marks… interesting."

It stepped forward.

The space around it distorted slightly, like reality bent to allow its presence.

Kael stood slowly, still unstable.

"What do you want?" he asked.

The Hunter Lord paused.

Then answered:

"To confirm something."

Jemila narrowed her eyes. "Confirm what?"

The Hunter Lord raised its hand slightly.

And the entire seal world reacted.

Chains in the air began to move.

The pedestal shattered further.

The fragment inside Kael pulsed.

Then—

The Lord spoke again.

"The system did not make a mistake."

Kael froze.

"…System?"

The Hunter Lord turned its head toward him.

"You were never meant to survive the fall."

🔥 JEMILA STRIKES FIRST

Jemila moved instantly.

She launched forward with terrifying speed, blade aimed at the Hunter Lord's neck.

But—

The attack stopped mid-air.

Her body froze.

Kael's eyes widened. "Jemila!"

She struggled. "I… can't move!"

The Hunter Lord didn't even look at her.

"It is not your turn," it said calmly.

Kael's breathing became uneven.

"What are you doing to her?!"

The Lord finally looked directly at Kael.

And pointed.

"Choosing."

🐉 THE TRUTH OF KAEL ARDYN

Kael felt it instantly.

The fragment inside him reacted.

His body froze.

Not physically—

But like his existence was being scanned.

The Hunter Lord spoke softly now.

"You are not just marked by the Bloody Sun…"

A pause.

"You are its missing piece."

Kael's eyes widened. "That's impossible…"

The Lord continued.

"The Ancient Book was not just broken."

"It was sealed inside beings."

Kael's breath stopped.

"…Beings?"

The Hunter Lord nodded slightly.

"And you are one of them."

💀 THE ESCAPE TRIGGER

Suddenly—

The seal world began collapsing.

The Hunter Lord stepped back slightly.

"Interesting… the system rejects exposure."

Kael shouted, "What does that mean?!"

The Lord looked at him one last time.

"You have been seen now."

"And once seen…"

It paused.

"You cannot be unseen again."

The ground cracked violently.

Jemila broke free suddenly, grabbing Kael.

"RUN!"

Kael didn't hesitate.

They sprinted as the ruins collapsed behind them.

The Hunter Lord didn't chase.

It only watched.

And whispered:

"Let the hunt truly begin."

🌑 BACK TO EARTH

Kael and Jemila were thrown out of the seal violently.

They landed in the forest again.

But everything felt different now.

Louder.

Heavier.

Alive.

Kael struggled to stand. "What just happened…"

Jemila looked around slowly.

Her voice was low.

"…We've been marked."

Kael frowned. "We already had marks."

She shook her head.

"No."

"This is different."

A pause.

Then she added:

"Now they know exactly where we are."
