Chapter 10 - The First Hunt Begins

The moment the dragon fully rose—

The world outside the underground prison changed.

Not instantly visible to humans.

But felt.

Like a pressure in the air that made animals stop moving… and wind hesitate before blowing.

🐉 THE AWAKENING SIGNAL

Kael Ardyn stood in the broken chamber, breathing heavily.

The dragon's presence filled everything now.

Not attacking.

Not yet.

Just aware.

Jemila slowly backed away. "Kael… I don't like this feeling."

Kael didn't answer immediately.

His eyes were locked on the creature.

"It's not trying to kill us," he said quietly.

Jemila frowned. "That's worse."

The dragon shifted.

Its massive shape was still partially hidden in darkness, but its eyes now focused completely on Kael.

Then—

The voice returned.

THE CHAINS WERE NEVER FOR ME.

A pause.

THEY WERE FOR YOU.

Kael's breath stopped. "Me?"

🩸 THE TRUTH OF THE MARK

The Bloody Sun mark on Kael's arm burned again.

But this time… it didn't hurt.

It responded.

The dragon lowered its head slightly.

YOU WERE NEVER EXILED.

YOU WERE SEALED.

Silence dropped like a stone.

Jemila whispered, "That's not possible…"

Kael took a step back. "I remember everything. I was punished—sent down—"

The dragon interrupted.

MEMORY IS A CHAIN TOO.

💀 ABOVE THE WORLD — THE HUNT BEGINS

Far above them…

The sky split slightly.

Not physically.

Spiritually.

The Dark Council chamber lit up with red alarms.

Lord Malzareth stood immediately.

"It has awakened fully."

Seraphine Morwen looked tense. "Then the boy—"

Malzareth cut her off. "Is no longer just a target."

Veydris clenched his staff. "He is a key."

Malzareth's eyes narrowed.

"No."

A pause.

"He is the lock itself."

🐺 FIRST HUNTERS RELEASED

A black portal opened in the sky above Earth.

Three figures stepped out.

Not human.

Not fully alive.

They were called:

The Void Hunters Kaelthar, The Tracker of Blood Nymora, The Silent Blade Brakkus, The Bone Titan

Their mission was simple:

Find Kael Ardyn. Kill him before he awakens further.

🌪️ EARTH REACTION

Back underground, Kael suddenly staggered.

Jemila grabbed him. "What's wrong?!"

Kael held his head. "Something's coming…"

The dragon spoke softly.

THE HUNT HAS STARTED.

Kael's eyes widened. "Already?"

The dragon answered:

YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO WAKE ME IN PEACE.

⚔️ FIRST ENCOUNTER — SURFACE BREAK

Above ground, the earth cracked.

A forest near the prison collapsed inward.

Kael and Jemila were forced upward through a collapsing tunnel of stone and shadow.

When they burst onto the surface—

Night had fallen.

But the sky was wrong.

The moon was red.

The Bloody Sun was faintly visible behind clouds that moved like living things.

🐺 THE TRACKER ARRIVES

A cold wind swept through the forest.

Then—

A voice.

"You smell like burned fate."

Kael turned slowly.

A tall figure stood between the trees.

Eyes glowing faint blue.

Kaelthar.

The Tracker of Blood.

Jemila stepped forward slightly. "Kael… don't move."

Kael ignored her.

"What do you want?"

Kaelthar tilted his head.

"I don't want anything."

A pause.

"I was sent to remove you."

🔥 FIRST POWER RESPONSE

Kael's mark flared instantly.

The dragon's voice echoed in his mind.

DO NOT RUN.

Kael whispered, "I wasn't planning to."

Jemila's eyes widened. "Kael—wait!"

But Kael stepped forward.

And for the first time—

He didn't hesitate.
