Their fight became intense. Krisha and her beast pet could actually keep up with Damian and two of his beast pets out of her defensive layer of ice energy.
Whenever Damian's wooden sword or the Voltclaw Lynx's claws were about to land at her body, an ice energy would manifest and slowed them down, giving Krisha a time to react—evading or parrying their attack.
At this point, it became a battle of attrition. It was obvious that Krisha was in the disadvantage as the difference between their minor rank showed. Krisha knew she had to find a way to end a battle before it wore her out.
Damian intensified the momentum of his sword swinging. He was exasperated after hitting nothing but mid-air, especially after his Mist-Splitting Line was disrupted because of Krisha's defensive layer of ice energy.
He couldn't fathom how it was possible. If he executed what Krisha did out of theory, his energy wouldn't last.
