"This is ridiculous," Pinky grumbled as we walked towards her house. "Why do I have to be the bait?"
"Because you're good at it," I told her honestly. "Besides after I'm done with her today she'll forget all about you."
"Promise?" She asked.
I guess now isn't the time to tell her that Ms Leopoldo followed us all the way from the school. She's not as great at stalking as I thought she would be. "I swear, she's not going to bother you after today."
"Fine, let's just split up here then," Pinky sighed. "My aunts coming over and if she sees you she'll throw a fit."
Ugh. She's so prickly.
"Fine see ya," I waved and turned around to walk the other way. Just as a hooded figure started to rush past me I shot out my hand, grabbing their arm and spinning them around to face me. "where are you going, Ms Leopoldo?" I asked her shocked face. "You've been following us since we left school grounds haven't you?"
